Raqdoll is an amalgam of the Arabic word for dance 'Raqs' (sometimes spelled: Raks) and Doll. Raqdoll is so named due to the heavy influence of Middle Eastern dance in our performances.

Raqdoll is a dance collective with its roots in Middle Eastern Dance. Raqdoll blends diverse performance disciplines with diverse eras - from classic Belly Dance to Vaudeville to Fire dancing, Raqdoll is a sublime and full bodied experience - ranging from sultry to outrageous and always extraordinary.
